Little snow in southcentral but glaciers provide the base if you are willing to make a long hike up. Heather, Weston and myself went to the Whittier Glacier looking for wind to fly our kites. lots of wind on the hike up but it died off as soon as we pulled out the kites. Still got an hour or so in before it completely shut down on us. Hope everyone is getting stoked for the season and we will see you out there. kd

You can ski to the car at Tin Can. Winter snow in upper bowl turns to difficult rain crust, don't reccommend free heeling. Thin down below but you can tundra bump to the car. It is a good base and with another 8+ inches it will be prime skiing all the way down. Props to the Forest Service for blasting a big trail up Turnagain Pass' most popular destination. Chop the alder, hack the willow, beware of devils club.
